Ibrahim Elias el Kai

Founder and CEO

Ibrahim leads a team of F&B professionals devoted to create new concepts, uplift existing local brands and raise the hospitality standards in the Kingdom of Bahrain and beyond. Prior to opening his own firm, Ibrahim was director of one of the biggest F&B groups in the region, Al Ghalia W.L.L with brands like Café Lilou, Monsoon, Zoe, Mezzaluna, Fatto and others. His hospitality education acquired from top universities in Lebanon, combined with working for leading names in the hotel and restaurant industry back home and Ibrahim’s tremendous experience across the gulf region gave him a great understanding of the market and consumer taste and a huge network that serves every project handled by KHE. Ibrahim so far managed creating or launching of many big brands in Bahrain namely: Iris, Angelina Paris, The Florist’s Daughter, Spun Candy, OAK, The Lebanese Bakery and others.

Guy Gateau

Culinary Expert

Guy has some 30 years of international experience in the culinary and food and beverage industry. He diversified his career with positions as Executive Chef, Director of Culinary Operations and Consultant for Embassies, Royal Palaces, International Air Lines, Leading Hotels of the World and Exclusive Private Clubs. Always eager to pass along his knowledge to others, he has been a teacher at the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France; created and ran a culinary program parallel to the acclaimed international Sommelier certification for the University du Vin in Suze la Rousse, France; and put together the partnership between the Dusit Thani College in Bangkok and Le Cordon Bleu to form the first international culinary institute in Thailand. Guy has called Bahrain home for the last 6 years; first running the culinary operations at The Ritz Carlton Hotel and Resort and more recently as a Consultant to Food and Beverage entities in Bahrain.
